Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Wm Bolthouse Farms, Inc. in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that plant equipment is repaired and maintained in a timely manner, modeling and acting in accordance with our guiding principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the maintenance team and support all aspects of the maintenance department as needed, including general building and grounds maintenance.
  • Assist with the installation of all new equipment.
  • Complete plant work orders, part lists, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure all plant equipment is functioning at optimum levels by performing short-term repairs and long-term improvements.
  • Complete tasks thoroughly and accurately to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Understand and follow established safety guidelines, programs, and procedures; and actively work to prevent safety incidents.
  • Support food safety, legality, and quality programs.
  • Maintain product quality through adherence to good manufacturing practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, product specifications, and quality procedures.
  • Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives and our Mission & Values.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Requirements:
  • High School/GED or one to two years' experience in a related field or combination of both education and experience.
  • Automated manufacturing or distribution environment (5 years).
  • General industrial maintenance and electrical systems (5 years).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience repairing and maintaining high-speed packaging equipment (2 years).
  • Familiarity with food safety regulatory requirements and global standards, including Preventive Controls for Human Food (21 CFR 117) and the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Experience with BRC or SQF certification schemes.
Physical Demands:
  • O = Occasional (up to 25% of time).
  • F = Frequent (26%-74% of time).
  • C = Constant (75% or more of time).
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
