The Role

We are seeking a skilled Jewelry Designer to join our team. As a key member of our merchandise and design team, you will be responsible for developing innovative concepts and ideas that enhance our jewelry line. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating new designs from conception to prototype, ensuring they align with our overall product strategy and merchandise objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute product concepts from inception to prototype, meeting product strategy and merchandise objectives.
  • Collaborate with the design team to elaborate and expand design concepts, coordinating seasonal concepts, materials, and hardware.
  • Research seasonal trends and develop new design concepts to enhance our brand's image in the market.
  • Ensure designs meet merchant line plans, assortment strategies, and overall creative direction.
  • Prepare and finalize technical drawings of proposed products for the product development process.
  • Create product presentations, including boards, tear sheets, and samples, and present new product assortments during line previews with internal partners.
  • Research and recommend trends and color stories for each season and category.
  • Adhere to design calendars and deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in art, design, or equivalent work experience, and 3+ years' experience designing fine jewelry.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D software.
  • Previous metal accessory/fine jewelry design experience.
  • Ability to multitask and shift direction quickly.
  • Positive-minded, team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Acute attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Practical problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
