Key Responsibilities- Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, adjustments, and repairs on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including pumps, engines, centrifuges, generators, valves, and other mechanical systems.
- Perform Facility Maintenance: Perform facility maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, and other minor repairs.
- Operate Company Vehicles: Operate company vehicles for plant operational purposes.
- Assist in Other Areas: Assist in other areas of the plant as directed.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with 6 months to 2 years of experience in a related position.
- Knowledge and Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and manuals, and operate Computer Maintenance Management System (software).
- Certifications and Licenses: Valid driver's license, minimum water/wastewater license, and other certifications as required by regulatory agencies.
The Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to outdoor and inclement weather. The position requires standing, walking, and using hands to finger, handle, or feel for extended periods.
