The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps, Linux systems, and Data Center operations. Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or Go to automate and streamline infrastructure processes are a must. Expertise with SANs, load balancing, and deep infrastructure optimizations is also required.

The Role:

  • Play a pivotal role in a specialized 5-person DevOps team within a larger engineering department of 30+ skilled professionals.
  • Drive the evolution of the company's infrastructure, leading initiatives that enhance reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Dive deep into infrastructure management, from configuring on-prem Linux systems to optimizing storage and networking setups like SANs and load balancing.
  • Roll up your sleeves and engage in hands-on hardware tasks such as server racking, cabling, and data center management.
  • Travel to state-of-the-art data centers across the US and potentially to Europe, expanding your experience in international infrastructure operations.
  • Collaborate remotely while maintaining a strong, independent work ethic-bringing your expertise with configuration tools like Puppet, and Ansible, and your proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go to bear.
