  • Drive a school bus on designated routes, following established time schedules and safety protocols.
  • Manage daily operations, including pre-trip inspections, fueling, and cleaning the bus.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the bus to ensure its safety and cleanliness, reporting any issues or defects.
  • Clean and refuel the bus as needed, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ensure all passengers wear seatbelts and follow safety guidelines.
  • Maintain order and discipline among students, reporting any incidents or conflicts.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to passenger inquiries and concerns.

Requirements

  • Certification/License: Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL), class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsement.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Successful prior experience working as a bus driver, preferably in a school district or transporting children.
