Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Residents with Daily Living Activities: Provide personalized support to residents with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence and dignity.
  • Conduct Regular Safety Checks: Perform thorough safety checks on residents to identify potential risks and take proactive measures to prevent accidents.
  • Implement Care Plans: Read and follow care plans to ensure residents receive the necessary care and attention, including managing oxygen tanks and concentrators as per medical orders.
  • Transport Residents: Safely transport residents to and from meals, activities, and other destinations, using proper lifting and transferring techniques.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Clean, complete laundry, and assist with community activities to ensure a clean and safe living environment for residents.
  • Document Resident Information: Accurately chart and document resident information, including incident reports, and communicate any changes in condition to supervisors promptly.
  • Respond to Resident Alerts: Respond promptly to resident alerts, using radios and reacting to emergency or other resident requests as needed.
  • Comply with Clearwater Living Standards: Adhere to Clearwater Living standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Represent Clearwater Living Principles: Display a positive and professional image, maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming, and representing the Clearwater Living principles and core values daily.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on healthcare or a related field.
  • Certified Assisted Living Caregiver Certification: Hold an active Certified Assisted Living Caregiver Certification.
  • First Aid and CPR/BLS Certification: Possess First Aid and CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Background Clearances: Meet government regulations for background clearances.
