Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate PACU Nurse to join our team. As a PACU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective nursing care to patients postoperatively until they are discharged from the facility. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, temperature, cardiac, and other parameters according to policy
  • Perform and document head-to-toe evaluation of patients using an approved scoring system
  • Prepare patients' care areas adequately and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are provided
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education to patients and their families on postoperative care and recovery
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing
  • 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU, or Surgery
  • Online certification not acceptable
  • PALS certification required by facility within 30 days of hire
