About the Role

MRI Technologies is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to support our AppDat Platform at NASA. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage robust cloud infrastructure with a focus on Kubernetes and Terraform.
  • Innovate CI/CD pipelines for streamlined code deployment, enhancing the functionality across diverse NASA projects.
  • Embed SRE principles into cross-functional workflows to improve system durability and scalability, addressing the unique needs of space exploration.
  • Develop sophisticated monitoring solutions, assuring high availability and peak performance for a range of critical applications.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of infrastructure and applications, adhering to the stringent standards required for spaceflight support systems.
  • Enforce strict security protocols and data protection laws, ensuring the safeguarding of sensitive information.
  • Share your expertise and encourage a culture of continuous learning and adaptation within our passionate team of developers.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Kubernetes (K8), Terraform, Git, Kustomize, Elasticstack, and Gitlab CI/CD.
  • A proven track record in deploying cloud-native solutions on GCP (preferred) or AWS.
  • Proficiency in creating automated solutions and continuous software delivery in a Kubernetes-based CI/CD environment.
