Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Templeton, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform nuclear imaging procedures for patients of all ages. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for exams, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring accurate and safe administration of radioactive materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform nuclear imaging procedures for newborns, children, adults, and geriatric patients
  • Position and instruct patients for exams, adjusting equipment as needed
  • Determine proper dosage and exposure time for each image, adhering to ALARA guidelines
  • Operate radiology information systems and computer software
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate and safe administration of radioactive materials
Requirements:
  • Meet minimum requirements for licensure by DHS
  • Hold a Nuclear Medicine license, including venipuncture
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in radiology information systems
