Job Overview

As a Residential Services Support Staff, your role will be to deliver essential support services to individuals with disabilities while also assisting residential services supervisors and management with administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include logistical support for the department, such as organizing files, transporting documents, and maintaining accurate information across various sites. Additionally, you will be responsible for scheduling and providing transportation for consumers to their medical and dental appointments.

We seek dedicated and empathetic individuals who are committed to enhancing the lives of our consumers. Each consumer has distinct goals and needs, ensuring that every day at Vodec presents new and rewarding challenges.

  • Location: Council Bluffs, IA
  • Wage: $17.50 per hour
  • Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm; occasional evenings and weekends may be required
  • Bonus: $1,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist adults with various intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Support consumers who may be independent as well as those who require more assistance.
  • Provide transportation and accompany consumers during community outings, errands, and medical appointments.
