About the Role

BCforward is seeking a highly skilled IT Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for implementing and operating IT security solutions to ensure the integrity of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and operate IT security solutions to ensure the security of our infrastructure
  • Work with the Bank GIS team to stay up-to-date on the latest security guidance, recommendations, and requirements
  • Provide research and recommendations on security-related items in support of our applications
  • Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of security plans, products, and control techniques
  • Coordinate the reporting of data security incidents
  • Provide technical support to clients and management on risk assessments and implementation of data security procedures and products
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of IT experience
  • Strong understanding of various IT infrastructure components, including networking, servers, and security
  • Experience with scanning and reporting products (McAfee, ESM, Qualys, Tanium, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of information security and best practices
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with TippingPoint IDS, proxy management (BlueCoat, McAfee Web Gateway, etc.), certificate management, and HSMs
  • Experience with pen-testing and vulnerability scanning
