GeoLogics Corporation is actively seeking an Advanced Engineering Technician to join our team in Irvine, CA.

This role involves collaboration with Engineering, Operations Support, and various departments to assist in engineering tasks such as design, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental circuitry, laser/light transmission devices, or specialized testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret basic engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Construct, modify, debug, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and adjust a variety of tools, equipment, and systems.
  • Conduct, analyze, and document statistically based experiments to define process parameters.
  • Implement and document complex solutions for process enhancement.
  • Design and construct basic tooling and fixtures for unique tasks.
  • Organize, analyze, and interpret data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommend resolutions/process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • An Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of fabrication tools.
  • Ability to fabricate complex hardware.
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted technical theories.
