About the Role

Fleet Maintenance Technicians play a vital role in the success of our beverage manufacturing, sales, and distribution operations. As a Fleet Maintenance Technician with PepsiCo, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of our fleet and supporting the safety of our drivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment, including automobiles, trucks, vans, and forklifts.
  • Utilize leading-edge technology and programs, including PM using voice application, Noregon diagnostics, Mitchell 1, Uptake predictive analytics, TAAS, and more.
  • Diagnose failures of vehicles and disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as necessary.
  • Maintain documentation and records, such as vehicle records and pre-trip checklists.
  • Answer service calls and be part of the team that maintains one of the largest fleets in North America.
Requirements
  • Must have a strong mechanical knowledge of gas and diesel repair.
  • Experience with hydraulic and air brake systems.
  • Knowledge of internal combustible engines.
  • Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance.
  • Ability to pass Forklift Driving Skills test (if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Repairing forklifts, including propane fuel, electrical, and battery systems.
  • Working with computers, including iPads, desktop computers, hand-held computers, and laptop computers.
  • Working with manufacturing standards, including use of Mitchell 1 and OEM Support tools.
  • Driving trucks requiring a Class A or B CDL.
  • Repairing heavy-duty equipment, including class 8, 7, 6, and medium-duty trucks.
