Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director to join our team at Portneuf Medical Center in southeast Idaho.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role and be board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. They will be responsible for caring for medical patients in the Pediatric Unit, consulting pediatric patients in the emergency department and surgical patients, and working a 7 on 7 off schedule with call from home.

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to collaborate and consult with a sister program at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, and may be eligible for a faculty appointment with Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine.

  • Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Board Certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine
  • ID license or IMLC compact-eligible (or willing to obtain)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in leadership role
