Job Title: Impacts Program SupervisorJob Summary:

Community Counseling Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Impacts Program Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Impacts Program, working closely with emergency rooms and jails to identify individuals who are cycling through the county jail and are high utilizers of behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Impacts Program, including gathering data, submitting reports, and distributing client-specific funds.
  • Provide behavioral health assessments and related treatment as indicated, and provide supervision/coordinate care with the Impacts Skills Trainer and Certified Recovery Worker/Peer Support Specialist.
  • Work closely with jails and emergency rooms to establish processes to collect data, and collect, record, and track data as needed for all reports.
  • Collaborate with the Morrow County LPSCC Coordinator to establish solid reporting practices.
  • Enter individuals into the Impacts Program, and work with treatment providers to enroll and monitor care, and connect the Impacts Program Skills Trainer and Certified Recovery Worker to the individual to provide specific treatment and supports geared towards reducing jail bookings and emergency room utilization.
  • Provide clinical services to adults enrolled in the Impacts program, including screening, assessment, individual and group therapy, consultation, and all other allowed clinical services.
  • Actively participate in joint case planning and coordination with agency employees and relevant agency contractors, and act as a liaison between clients and other agencies.
  • Act as a client advocate when appropriate, and actively participate in group and individual supervision sessions.
  • Work with other staff and community representatives to initiate new programs, review, evaluate, and revise existing programs as necessary.
  • Provide clinical supervision and oversight on a daily and regular basis to assigned employees, ensuring that care is of the highest clinical standards and consistent with CCS philosophy and policy.
  • Ensure that assigned supervisees are apprised of current evidence-based practices (EBP's), implement EBP's, and ensure that the agency is meeting or exceeding standards of good clinical outcomes.
  • Ensure that all paperwork by the clinical staff is completed in a professional and timely manner, and provide supervision when this goal is not being met.

  • Recruit, hire, and train new staff, provide supervision, and conduct performance evaluations, and follow policies for employee discipline and termination when necessary.
  • Work to resolve conflict as appropriate, and provide positive leadership.
  • Engage in disciplinary actions, in consultation with the Clinical Director and/or the Executive Director, as necessary.
  • Report all cases of abuse or neglect to the proper agency, and ensure that all cases are reported, and provide follow-up and complete all investigative reports when required, as well as implementing safety plans.
  • Provide utilization management for adults and children needing to access higher levels of care.
  • Schedule and participate in meetings with other agencies to ensure continuity of service delivery, and ensure that CCS is highly regarded by other community partners.
  • Maintain a caseload, and provide quality individual, group, and family counseling services, ensuring that all paperwork is professional and timely.
  • Follow the grievance process for customer complaints, and work diligently to resolve complaints.
  • Ensure that the agency is meeting or exceeding all of the requirements for the relevant OAR's, as well as the clinical contractual requirements as required by Greater Oregon Behavioral Health (GOBHI) and other mental health organizations.
  • Ensure that clients are scheduled in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for ensuring clinical staff coverage by overseeing vacations, sick leave, training, etc.
  • Work with contracted prescribers to put together schedules and ensure that the service delivery is well coordinated for prescribers and the customers they see, and consult with prescribers to coordinate medical treatment.
  • Work with the Quality Assurance Coordinator to ensure that clinicians are meeting quality assurance standards.
  • Participate in internal administrative meetings, and hold regular clinical staff meetings.
  • Communicate with members of the public to coordinate work programs, inform the public about our services, and speak with groups about our services and/or specific areas of mental health and alcohol/drug programs.
  • Serve on various boards or committees in the community as it relates to program services.
  • Oversee training for Impacts Program Skills Trainer and Certified Recovery Mentor.
  • Participate and attend on-going trainings, conferences, and workshops, when needed or requested.
  • Complete evaluation surveys, as requested.
  • Recognize role as a mandated reporter, and report any problematic issues.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and complete documentation of all documents and subsequent data entry when required.
  • Participate as requested in supervision.
  • Adhere to all program policies and procedures.
  • Provide transportation to clients when recommended to assist client in access to services or when providing mentoring activities in the community.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisor and other members of the team, and take constructive feedback regarding mentoring activities.
