About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments, develop, and implement individualized plans of care
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy
  • Delegate tasks appropriately to non-licensed staff
  • Provide pre- and post-operative patient care
  • Facilitate discharge plans in collaboration with the care team

Requirements

  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Experience in an acute care setting - preferred
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required as per St. David's Healthcare policy
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification - preferred
