- Utilize and understand medical devices, such as catheters and feeding tubes.
- Operate life support systems.
- Recognize and treat illnesses and injuries according to established operating instructions.
- Record and maintain patient information in accordance with standard protocols.
- Identify and record signs and symptoms of physical and mental conditions.
- Exercise initiative, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills daily.
- Prioritize workload and make independent judgments.
- Demonstrate success in stressful environments.
- Pursue professional development activities and continuing education.
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure contract charges are applied uniformly.
- Protect patients' privacy through confidentiality and infection control procedures.
- 3 years' minimum experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Associate degree from an accredited Nursing School required, Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted Nursing License.
- Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Valid US passport.
- Recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months out of the past year.
- Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and have excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as with MS Office products.
- Ability to perform duties in a stressful and high-paced environment.
- Must be confirmed by a medical examination to be 'medically and dentally fit' in accordance with Acuity Medical Readiness Guidelines and Policies.
- No conditions that would prevent the wear of personal protective equipment.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 70 lbs. of referenced gear while running to a bunker or protected area in the face of perceived or imminent danger.
