Key Responsibilities
• Assess and diagnose acute illnesses and minor injuries, performing physicals and implementing treatment plans as needed.
• Prescribe medication, perform minor procedures, and coordinate treatment, providing health education and guidance to patients and their families.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
• MS in Nursing (Required)
• NP - Nurse Practitioner Certification - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
• RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
Work Environment
• Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Frequent walking, standing, or squatting required.
