Project Surveyor

We are looking for a licensed surveyor who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating survey planning, schedules, processing, and project administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Boundary calculations utilizing coordinate geometry software
• Existing survey records, research, plan interpretation, and the correct staking of surveying and engineering projects
• Collecting, processing, interpreting, and correcting field measurements and data for survey projects
• Supporting business development activities through RFP's, presentations, and community engagement activities while developing relationships with clients
• Mentoring and developing professional and technical survey staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college (or state accepted educational equivalent for licensure)
• Licensed Land Surveyor (LS) in the State of Minnesota
• 5+ years of progressive land survey experience
• Effective management and leadership skills
• Working knowledge and skills in CAD and survey software
• Working knowledge of specialized software processes for managerial, supervisory, and QA/QC purposes
• Possess a valid driver's license; may require travel, including extended overnight stays
