We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Jobot's client in Washington State. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and equipping exam rooms, integrating previous imaging studies, and performing computed tomography scans. Key Responsibilities- Prepare and equip exam rooms to meet the needs of requested examinations and physician requirements.
- Organize daily work schedules and perform related clerical duties as required.
- Integrate previous imaging studies, laboratory results, patient history, and medical records to optimize exams.
- Perform computed tomography scans and provide patient education and instruction prior to and after examination.
- Operate CT scanners for data acquisition, reconstruction, and documentation of images, and perform quality control measures.
- Apply ALARA principles to ensure radiation safety for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Perform interventional procedures and other patient care activities as assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology program required.
- Minimum of one year of experience preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of age-specific principles of growth and development and life stages.
- Demonstrated venipuncture competency.
- PACS/RIS knowledge required.
- EPIC RIS, FUJI, and IntelliSpace PACS experience preferred.
- Certification/Registration/Licensure as required by the State for trained modality.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire.
- Advanced ARRT (CT) certification required within one year of hire.
