Compensation: Up to $64,000 per year

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Reliant Medical Group in Worcester, MA. This is a full-time opportunity with great compensation and benefits.

In this role, you will perform ultrasound studies, including diagnostic breast imaging and limited vascular studies, as assigned. You will also be responsible for maintaining exam suites in good order, obtaining patient clinical history, and instructing patients on exam procedures.

To be successful in this position, you should have a graduate degree from an AMA-accredited ultrasound program or equivalent, certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), and experience working with ultrasound equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound studies, including diagnostic breast imaging and limited vascular studies, as assigned
  • Maintain exam suites in good order, ensuring they meet departmental guidelines
  • Obtain and review patient clinical history and related reports/documentation
  • Ensure patients understand exam procedures and preparation requirements
  • Perform related clerical duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited ultrasound program or equivalent
  • Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certified and maintain this certification during employment
  • Demonstrated competency to perform ultrasound exams on newborns, children, adults, and geriatric patients, meeting all department guidelines
