Senior SailPoint Solutions Engineer

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team at Veterans Sourcing Group is in search of a highly proficient IAM Engineer with specialized knowledge in SailPoint IdentityIQ and robust Java programming capabilities.

As a Senior SailPoint Solutions Engineer, you will be instrumental in architecting, executing, and sustaining our enterprise IAM framework. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, configuring, and deploying SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions tailored to meet the organization's IAM needs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to collect IAM requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
  • Overseeing the development and customization of SailPoint IdentityIQ workflows, rules, connectors, and other components to facilitate identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, and compliance.
  • Integrating SailPoint IdentityIQ with diverse systems and applications, including but not limited to Active Directory, LDAP, HR systems, and business applications.
  • Implementing and maintaining access control policies and entitlement management within SailPoint IdentityIQ.
  • Working alongside development teams to ensure seamless integration of IAM solutions with Java-based applications.
  • Conducting integration testing to validate the functionality, performance, and security of IAM solutions.
  • Staying updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in IAM, contributing to the continuous enhancement of IAM processes and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field such as Computer Science.
  • 12+ years of IT experience with a focus on designing, developing, and supporting Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions, with at least 8 years dedicated to IAM solutions (specifically SailPoint IdentityIQ).
  • Experience in developing and configuring common SailPoint connectors, including Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, JDBC, and various authoritative source integrations.
  • Familiarity with role-based access controls and automated provisioning and deprovisioning processes.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal communication, decision-making, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, adapt to change quickly, and learn new applications or environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on quality work and meeting deadlines.
  • Extreme attention to detail due to audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise in Java programming and experience with developing and integrating Java-based applications.
  • Proven experience in integration testing, ensuring seamless integration of IAM solutions with various systems.
  • Valid certification in SailPoint IdentityIQ is required.
  • Proficient in IAM concepts, including identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, RBAC, and entitlement management.
  • Experience with identity protocols and standards such as SAML, OAuth, LDAP, and SCIM.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
