About the Role:

Abbott Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center is a 46-bed skilled nursing facility seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients, providing expert care and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Physical Therapy procedures upon medical prescription in accordance with Rehabilitation Department policy and under the general supervision of the Rehabilitation Director.
  • Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants, aides, and students in their resident care responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized Physical Therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas of improvement and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent for licensure.
  • Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist by the State of Massachusetts.
  • Two years of PT experience in a related setting is preferred.
  • APTA membership is encouraged.
