Job Summary:

Learning Services, A Collage Rehabilitation Partner is seeking a skilled Housekeeper - PRN to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our clients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, floors, counters, showers, and other high-touch areas.
  • Vacuum and/or sweep floors and carpets to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Empty trash cans and receptacles, and replenish supplies in client rooms, common areas, and high-traffic areas.
  • Clean and dust woodwork, doorways, and other surfaces to maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Identify and rotate all housekeeping supplies, including paper towels, soap, trash bags, and MSDS/Chemicals, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Receive, document, and store inventory as needed to maintain a well-stocked and organized housekeeping department.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant OSHA regulations and compliance to ensure a safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of basic housekeeping tools, materials, and MSDS sheets, including familiarity with standard safety practices and the identification of hazardous conditions.
  • Competence in writing, planning, organization, and documentation, as well as time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with families, professionals, clients, and co-workers.
