Chief Financial Officer, Physician Services

This is an outstanding opportunity to join UCHealth Medical Group, a top physician-led group practice owned by UCHealth. As a key member of our high-performing, quality-focused senior leadership team, you will lead the vision of "From Health Care to Health" by forging strong relationships with the health system enterprise, UCHealth Medical Group physicians and physician leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Align departmental strategy or direction with the overall financial goals of the organization, ensuring all finance-related activity supports UCHealth's strategic plan and organizational priorities.
  • Develop policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on physician services division.
  • Evaluate physician services' financial and operational performance and make recommendations to improve or enhance.
  • Strategically develop the annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Implement and monitor budget and provide regular budget analysis to UCHealth Chief Financial Officer.
  • Forge effective relationships and open dialogue with all levels of staff and the leadership team.
  • Meet regularly with the UCHealth Medical Group's leadership team to facilitate communication with regard to the physician services financial goals, objectives and strategies.
  • Communicate in-depth understanding of the financial needs of physician services.
  • Collaborate with peers to develop strategy, operating policies, business plans, and capital allocation plans.
  • Work closely with leadership teams to ensure staffing models are realistic and sustainable.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Education/Experience: Master's degree in finance, health care administration, or related field preferred. CPA preferred. Minimum of five years of progressive financial leadership, with a proven record of success.
  • Experience as a finance executive in a large, complex health system preferred or large multi-discipline medical group.
  • Experience in matrixed reporting relationships and possess strong collaboration skills to foster relationships across UCHealth.
