We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in Gainesville, Florida. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional looking to expand their skills and gain new experiences.

About the Job

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies
  • Interview patients to explain procedures and address concerns
  • Ensure patient safety by explaining protocols, removing hazardous metal objects, and monitoring patients via CCTV
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a MRI Technologist
  • License in the required state
  • BLS certification
  • Strong knowledge of MRI procedures and protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
