We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Manager of the Emergency Department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of all activities in the Emergency Department.
Responsibilities- Supervise and monitor the performance of the Emergency Department staff.
- Interact with physicians, hospital staff, outside agencies, patients, and their families/significant others to provide comprehensive care.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services in the Emergency Department.
- Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintenance.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory/management experience.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferred.
- PALS certification upon hire and maintenance.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) certification upon hire and maintenance.
- Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required for all hires after 1/11/2021.
