Program Details: CHRISTUS offers a comprehensive yearlong developmental and onboarding program designed to equip newly licensed registered nurses with the essential skills and confidence required for delivering high-quality patient care. This program emphasizes evidence-based training and critical thinking, guided by our esteemed professionals.

Orientation and Support: Each new graduate will undergo an extensive orientation and will be paired with a dedicated preceptor. Your preceptor will be situated in your designated unit, providing support throughout the program, familiarizing you with the environment, and leading you through a structured curriculum focused on progressive skill enhancement and patient care responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Possession of a current Texas RN license
  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and development
  • Willingness to accept scheduling and placement designations as determined prior to hire
