Job Overview

Soliant is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join our team in a full-time role within a school district. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services to students while adhering to local and state guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough psychological evaluations to identify students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Results Interpretation: Analyze assessment outcomes and provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations.
  • Counseling Services: Offer individual and group counseling to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
  • Collaboration: Work with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student support strategies.
  • Meetings Participation: Engage in IEP meetings and other team discussions as necessary.
  • Record Maintenance: Keep accurate, confidential records of assessments, counseling sessions, and interventions.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and trends in school psychology.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Licensure: State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist in the state.
  • Certification: NASP certification is preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in school-based settings is advantageous.
  • Knowledge: Thorough understanding of state and local regulations regarding school psychology.
