Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care. This position requires coordination and collaboration with the healthcare team to provide exceptional respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments, including breath sounds and airway patency.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate respiratory therapy needs.
  • Administer oxygen delivery, aerosol medication, and chest physiotherapy as prescribed.
  • Assist with artificial airway placement and initiate mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitor patients for therapeutic response and notify providers as necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification within 30 days of employment.
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) certification.
  • Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate.
