Position Title: Quality Inspector – Finished Goods

Overview:
This role is crucial in ensuring that products meet the required standards before they are dispatched to customers. The Quality Inspector will play a key role in maintaining quality assurance throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and eliminate defects in products prior to shipment.
  • Assess and either approve or reject materials based on their form, fit, function, and finish.
  • Inspect material rolls for any defects.
  • Measure and cut materials according to customer specifications.
  • Interpret work documents as necessary.
  • Manage the movement and adjustment of material rolls as required.
  • Set up and configure machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Input relevant data into the computer system.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with relevant experience or training.
  • Basic proficiency in computer usage.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Strong vision for detecting product defects.
  • Capability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience using hoists and pallet jacks safely.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
