About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Substation Engineer to join our team at Grays Harbor PUD. As a Substation Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, design, construction, and support of our substations and related systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering tasks required for substation design, layout, and wiring
  • Specify and procure equipment for substation projects
  • Conduct system protection studies and coordination
  • Assist with electrical equipment programming and testing
  • Perform overall power system analysis
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Power utility experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
