Job Title: Enterprise Storage Solutions Director

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Storage Solutions Director to join our team at Starfish Storage. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving net new and expansion business, leveraging our rock-solid technology, referenceable clients, top-notch technical team, and experienced executive team to achieve your goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote Starfish software at conferences, trade shows, and in both virtual and in-person meetings both in the US and (occasionally) internationally.
  • Apply your knowledge of storage lifecycle management - from acquiring to migrating to protecting and archiving data - to client needs and map those requirements to Starfish software's functionality.
  • Manage the software evaluation process, defining use cases and opportunities for customization and integration.
  • Build and present proposals and coordinate technical resources in the sales process.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with direct clients, channel partners, and alliance partners.
  • Collaborate actively with colleagues through our CRM and other systems with accurate and timely information.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of client-facing experience selling enterprise software solutions or technology product solutions in the $50k to $500k/transaction range to IT professionals, technical resources, and scientific clients.
  • Experience establishing and developing client accounts, writing technical proposals, and giving presentations to both technical and business audiences.
  • A passion for the transformative nature of technology.
  • A proven track record of consistently achieving quota and closing sales.
  • University undergraduate degree required. Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and/or advanced degree preferred.
  • Impeccable communication skills (oral and written), an ability to multitask, and high attention to detail.
  • You must be a critical thinker, proactive strategist, effective problem solver, comfortable with dealing with ambiguity, and able to manage large workloads.
  • Project management skills.
  • Multilingual - business speak and technology speak.
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Ideally you would have expertise in at least one major data protection, migration, or archive software product.
  • Ideally you would have expertise with at least one major analytics or reporting platform.

Salary Range (Estimated): $90k to 130k plus commissions
