Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team at DND Groups, Inc. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all cakes, pastries, and desserts meet Paris Baguettes delectability standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with coworkers and managers to create a fun, positive environment for learning and working as a team.
  • Provide Excellent Guest Service: Impress guests by providing a warm, friendly interaction, maintaining a clean environment, and going out of your way to ensure they leave happy.
  • Produce High-Quality Desserts: Responsible for scaling, decorating, and producing all desserts, pastries, and cakes.
  • Mentor and Train: Mastery of all recipes and techniques, as well as the ability to patiently guide new team members through the learning process.
  • Ensure Safety and Quality: Care for your safety and that of your teammates by following and maintaining Paris Baguette and DND Groups standards and policies.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace: Show off your attention to detail and your clever cleaning hacks by maintaining a tidy work station and keeping the cake display in tip-top shape to show off your work.
  • Present a Professional Image: Sport that uniform with a sharp, tidy appearance. We are talking iron creases, and Paris Baguette blue manicure. Okay, that's a bit much, but tidy and polished is a must.
Requirements
  • The ability to work in and out of different temperature ranges, stand for long periods of time, work around possible allergens, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Positivity, eagerness to learn, a friendly disposition, and the ability to contribute in a team environment are critical.
  • Basic math (for counting) and reading skills. As well as the ability to follow directions.
