As a key member of our engineering team, you will engage in the design, analysis, and enhancement of manufacturing processes. Your expertise will drive operational excellence and contribute to our commitment to quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and improve manufacturing processes to optimize performance.
• Lead and participate in Kaizen initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage projects effectively, guiding multidisciplinary teams through the Kaizen journey while overseeing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Conduct process capacity analyses and define resource requirements to align with production demands, establishing labor utilization standards.
• Recommend and implement methods to enhance resource utilization and minimize waste.
• Analyze data for KPI/KAI tracking and improvement, employing statistical methodologies.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and processes as necessary.
• Design and deploy training programs aimed at enhancing Kaizen and problem-solving effectiveness.
• Support the development of team members as needed.
• Evaluate processes, workforce utilization, facility layouts, and operational data to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Apply proven methodologies such as PDS in manufacturing environments.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality enhancement, and workflow improvements.
• Propose workflow reorganizations, equipment relocations, and necessary equipment purchases.
• Coordinate project efforts internally and externally to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery Metrics.
• Utilize knowledge of WCM, TPS, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma principles.
• Assess task durations and establish performance standards.
• Set continuous improvement goals and execute actionable plans.
Nature & Scope:
• Follow guidance from leadership while proactively proposing solutions and strategies.
• Operate within defined instructions and maintain alignment with team objectives.
• Collaborate with various departments as necessary.
• Provide training and coaching to team members.
Knowledge & Skills:
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and practices.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focused on process improvement and KPI enhancement.
• Proficient in Problem-Solving Tools, including Kaizen, One Piece Flow, 4M's, 5 Why's, 5 W+1 H, and Poka-Yoke.
• Competent in software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Minitab.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Effective project management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma tools.
Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly setting.
• Knowledge of Factory Master Planning.
• Experience with WCM, TPS, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing tools.
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Six Sigma certification is advantageous.

• Ability to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
