Key Responsibilities- Deliver Direct and Indirect Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care to patients receiving surgical and/or invasive procedures, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with physicians, co-workers, and nursing directors to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Monitor and Respond to Patient Condition: Identify and respond quickly to changes in patient condition or response to treatment, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Work with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments to provide a continuum of care and ensure efficient patient flow and unit maintenance.
- Adhere to Regulations and Policies: Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and hospital or unit policies and procedures.
- Monitor and Record Patient Condition: Accurately record and communicate patient condition as appropriate, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Coordinate Patient Care: Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate and Educate Patients: Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Nursing License: Possess a current nursing license in good standing.
- Ambulatory/Outpatient Experience: Evidence of one year of current Ambulatory/Outpatient experience.
- Certifications: Current AHA BLS and ACLS credential mandatory.
