Position Overview:
A healthcare provider in San Jose is looking for a dedicated and empathetic internal medicine physician to become part of a collaborative outpatient interdisciplinary team. We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience. The ideal candidate will prioritize evidence-based medical practices and be adept at treating patients of all ages. This position involves working closely with other healthcare professionals and supervising mid-level providers and nursing staff.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid CA medical license as an MD or DO
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Board certification in primary care
- CA DEA certificate prior to start date
- Current CPR certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct primary care and outpatient services to clinic patients
- Conduct in-service training for clinic staff to enhance patient care quality
- Engage in the formulation of clinic protocols and procedures to ensure high standards of medical care
- Participate in utilization and peer review initiatives to assess the quality of medical services provided
- Supervise and consult with physician assistants and nurse practitioners
- Offer consultation services to practitioners via telephone as needed
