Job Overview

At PosiGen, we're passionate about providing affordable solar energy solutions for all. We're seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our team and help us achieve our mission of making solar energy accessible to everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install solar panels and support structures according to specifications.
  • Install solar systems in accordance with codes and standards using drawings, schematics, and instructions.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and bolt structural framing and solar modules.
  • Electrically wire AC/DC systems.
  • Mount racking and electrical equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment for each installation.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work site.
  • Follow organization policies and procedures, including OSHA requirements.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working on roofs required.
  • Prior residential solar experience preferred.
  • Ability to work from ladders/scaffolding or in confined spaces.
  • Ability to read plans, specifications, diagrams, and equipment submittals.
  • Valid driver's license required.
