The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for the comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough assessments of NICU patients and develop individualized care plans.
2. Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
3. Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as necessary.
4. Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Nursing Diploma is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a NICU RN is highly preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
- A valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are necessary.
