The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing production and operations, with a proven track record of leading teams and implementing process improvements. They will be responsible for guiding a team of production workers, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring that products meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to recruit and train new operators.
  • Assign responsibilities and oversee the daily workflow for production.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure that products meet quality standards. Implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
  • Make recommendations to Operations Management on coaching/counseling for production staff.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in manufacturing production & operations or engineering technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Basic understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to guide and train lower-level employees.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires working in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to hot and cold temperatures, noise, dust, and other industrial elements.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.

Compensation:

$26.00 Hourly
