They will be responsible for guiding a team of production workers, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring that products meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to recruit and train new operators.
- Assign responsibilities and oversee the daily workflow for production.
- Monitor production processes to ensure that products meet quality standards. Implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
- Make recommendations to Operations Management on coaching/counseling for production staff.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in manufacturing production & operations or engineering technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to guide and train lower-level employees.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires working in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to hot and cold temperatures, noise, dust, and other industrial elements.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
Compensation:
$26.00 Hourly
