Job Summary

Apple is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Embedded Sensors Quality Engineering team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our Always On Platform (AOP) and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and own automated tests for new and existing technologies
  • Proactively triage and investigate difficult problems
  • Work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure quality releases

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of software test and validation methodologies
  • Solid OS fundamentals
  • Programming experience with C/C++, Python, and Shell scripting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with developing, testing, or debugging device drivers, firmware, other low-level software, embedded systems, or sensors
