AllSearch Professional Staffing is representing a well-established client in the manufacturing sector, renowned for their innovative solutions in power transmission and motion transfer. We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to enhance our quality assurance efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main Quality Assurance contact for department leaders, focusing on identifying issues, resolving them, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Formulate, implement, and document quality standards and requirements for manufacturing and inspection processes.
  • Design and execute strategies for process control, enhancement, testing, and evaluation.
  • Set supplier quality expectations and assess supplier performance regularly.
  • Engage in both internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance.
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders to address quality concerns and ensure effective corrective measures are taken.
  • Apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to problem-solving processes.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and persuasive skills, both in writing and verbally.
  • Exhibit proficiency in computer applications relevant to quality assurance, including spreadsheets and databases.
  • Show initiative, fulfill commitments, and contribute to the development of new tools or solutions that drive business success.
  • Maintain high energy levels, accountability, and integrity in all tasks.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and effective organization of information.
  • Proactively identify potential quality challenges and communicate them to management.
  • Manage documentation related to first article inspections.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
