Anesthesiology Specialist

UPMC Kane is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our premier anesthesiology team in Kane, PA. As a CRNA, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team that includes leading surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare professionals committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

We are seeking a highly skilled CRNA to provide anesthetic care for a broad spectrum of cases, including orthopedics, general surgery, podiatry, and pain management. The ideal candidate will have experience in general anesthesia practice and some pediatric experience. • Administer anesthesia to patients, rendering them insensitive to pain during surgery
• Monitor the patient's physical reaction to sedatives, analgesics, and anesthetic agents
• Inform the anesthesiologist of any adverse condition that potentially threatens the safety or care of the patient
• Participate in the Quality Improvement (QI) process through case documentation, incident reporting, evaluation, education, and implementation of the QI plan
• Assume responsibility and be accountable for controlled substances according to department and hospital policy and State and federal guidelines

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
• Familiarity with controlled substance policies in accordance with Federal and State laws
• Current licensure in the state where the facility is located or a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state
