As a prominent healthcare provider in central and southern Delaware, Bayhealth Medical Center is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across its facilities, including Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus, and Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus.
We are seeking *Registered Nurses with varying levels of experience* to deliver high-quality nursing care to patients within designated units, emphasizing safety and excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct, professional nursing care to a specific patient demographic in an acute care environment.
- Educating patients and their families about treatment plans and care processes.
- Implementing nursing interventions aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes.
- Overseeing and delegating tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
- Upholding standards of excellence by practicing nursing with core values of compassion, accountability, respect, teamwork, and integrity.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Qualifications:
- Nursing Diploma required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing must be obtained within 36 months of hire, if not already held.
- Registered Nurse credential from an accredited nursing program/university is mandatory.
