Job Overview

Position Summary

The role of a Pack-out Technician involves tasks similar to those of a mover and truck driver, with a focus on handling the damaged or soiled contents of properties affected by disasters. This includes transporting items to our facility for cleaning and returning them post-restoration. You will also engage in the cleaning and restoration of these items, which requires a strong emphasis on customer service. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate or learn to operate a large box truck.
  • Physically manage tasks in a dynamic environment, including lifting, packing, and carrying items in various weather conditions.
  • Quickly adapt to new processes and learn effectively.
  • Maintain organization and thoroughness in completing necessary documentation.
  • Work efficiently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Utilize computer systems and adapt to new software applications.
  • Document job sites with photographs and written reports.
  • Employ cleaning equipment properly and follow established procedures.
  • Assist in debris removal and cleanup of damaged materials.
  • Ensure safety and security on job sites at all times.
  • Possess experience in restoration or moving industries.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn about water, fire, mold, and contents damage.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

  • Monday to Friday
  • On-Call Duties
  • Weekend Overtime as necessary
Typical Work Hours
  • Start Time: 7:30 AM
  • End Time: 5:00 PM
Compensation

Pay is set at $19.00 per hour, based on experience, with weekly pay periods and overtime opportunities.
