Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The role involves providing physical therapy services to students with disabilities as per their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), promoting their physical well-being and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' physical therapy needs and develop treatment plans.
- Deliver physical therapy services to students in individual or group settings, focusing on mobility, strength, coordination, balance, and functional skills.
- Collaborate with school-based teams to support students' educational goals and participation in school activities.
- Monitor student progress, adjust treatment plans, and communicate with parents, teachers, and team members.
- Provide guidance and training to staff, parents, and caregivers on supporting students' physical development and independence.
- Stay updated on best practices in pediatric physical therapy and engage in professional development activities.

Qualifications:

- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility for licensure through the State Board of Physical Therapy.
- Certification in Pediatric Physical Therapy (preferred).
- Experience working with children and adolescents with diverse physical and developmental needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and teams.

- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
