Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team at Champion Dodge. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling and leasing new and used vehicles to customers, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell and lease new and used vehicles to customers, meeting or exceeding sales targets and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and services within the industry.
  • Utilize dealership sales control and follow-up systems to manage sales processes and customer interactions.
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with customers, identifying their needs and preferences to provide personalized sales solutions.
  • Work closely with the finance and insurance department to ensure smooth sales transactions and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to stay informed about sales strategies and product knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the sales team and dealership operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; six months of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and state sales license required.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills, with a focus on building strong relationships and meeting customer needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Physical demands of the job include standing for long periods, moving about the dealership facility and lot, and working in a variety of weather conditions.
Working Conditions

The sales person works both indoors and out, moving about the dealership facility and lot to communicate with salespeople, managers, and customers. Weekend, evening, and holiday hours will be required. Will go on test drives.
