Job Summary:

This is a full-time night shift position working on a consistent 7:00 pm - 7:00 am rotating schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating packaging equipment and machinery, performing troubleshooting and predictive maintenance inspections, and maintaining working areas as clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate packaging equipment and machinery to meet production needs and goals.
  • Perform troubleshooting and predictive maintenance inspections to minimize downtime and product shrink.
  • Maintain working areas as clean, organized, and free of standing water.
  • Closely monitor packaging quality and make necessary adjustments.
  • Keep detailed records and document changes made to the machine during the shift.
  • Perform set-up activities such as mechanical assembly and loading of packaging materials.
  • Responsible for detailed cleaning activities in all packaging equipment and other areas of the plant.
  • Consistently meet production needs and goals while minimizing product shrink and downtime.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience running a production/packaging line is preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to be forklift and pallet jack certified.
  • Ability to be Lockout Tagout (LOTO) certified.
