Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at O-AT-KA Milk. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and perform repairs as necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with production staff to resolve equipment-related issues and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment histories.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance or mechanical role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including plumbing, pumps, seals, and gaskets.
  • Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and use scissor lifts as needed.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and exposure to machinery and equipment. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a team-oriented environment.
