Job Summary

Magnet Medical is seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team in Columbia, Missouri. As an integral part of our medical staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting electrophysiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

About the Role
  • Assist electrophysiologists during electrophysiology studies, catheter ablations, pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) insertions, and cardiac mapping
  • Operate specialized equipment, including 3D mapping systems, electrophysiology catheters, electrical stimulator devices, and cardiac imaging systems
  • Collaborate with the medical team to provide patient care and support
Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring all necessary documentation and consents are completed
  • Review procedure plans with the electrophysiology team and assist in setting up equipment
  • Assist during procedures, handling and operating specialized equipment
  • Monitor and record patient information, equipment used, and any changes in patient condition
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Completion of a training program in electrophysiology technology or related field
  • Current certification as an Electrophysiology Technician
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
